Storyline:
KK Khosla (Anupam Kher) is a middle-class man living in New Delhi. He’s a simple man with simple preferences. The plot begins with a scene in which Khosla dreams of her death.The irony is that nobody cares about his death; Instead, his children and neighbors are more interested in their material needs. One morning, Khosla wakes up in Delhi and plans to go to the place where he bought land to build his house. He is accompanied by his wife, eldest son Bunta (Ranvir Shorey), second son Chironji Lal Khosla (Parvin Dabas), and daughter.
Upon reaching the location, they find that the location was occupied by someone else and upon further investigation, discovers that it has been taken over by a spoofing ring led by a Kishan Khurana (Boman Irani). Khurana asks for Rs.15 lakhs for leaving a plot that Khosla rejects. Rounded up by some local strongmen, Bunty violently demolishes the walls and reoccupies the compound. But Khurana has the police on his side and he arrests Khosla. After a day in police custody, Khosla is released. After Cherry, he meets Asif Iqbal who was Khurana’s partner.Khurana outwitted him and took his ancestral land in Asif. So Asif and Khoslas turn the tables and cheat him Rs. 35 lakh (with cheating). Eventually, Khosla gives the khurana the requested 15 lakhs and resumes his plot.
